Islamic State militants beheaded British aid worker Alan Henning in a video posted on Friday.
Henning (47) from Eccles, Greater Manchester has been beheaded by Islamic State militants .Henning, taxi driver from Salford in northern England, was part of an aid convoy taking medical supplies to a hospital in northwest Syria in December last year when it was stopped by gunmen and he was abducted.
The footage on YouTube, highlighted on pro-Islamic State Twitter feeds, showed Henning , in an orange jumpsuit kneeling next to a black-clad militant in arid scrubland .
In the video, titled "Another Message to America and its allies," Henning says: "I am Alan Henning. Because of our parliament's decision to attack the Islamic State, I as a member of the British public will now pay the price for that decision".
A male voice with a British accent says, a masked man standing behind Henning, who is seen kneeling in front, says "The blood of David Haines was on your hands David Cameron. Alan Henning will also be slaughtered but his blood is on the hands of British parliament."
Prime Minister David Cameron was asked whether he believed the extremists would kill more of their Western hostages, Cameron suggested the only way to stop them was through military action.
"The fact that this was a kind, gentle, compassionate and caring man who had simply gone to help others, the fact they could murder him in the way they did, shows what we are dealing with," Cameron said. "This is going to be our struggle now. ... We must do everything we can to defeat this organization. We must take action against it. We must find those responsible."
IS had threatened to kill the Salford taxi driver in video footage last month showing the death of Briton David Haines. Henning became the fourth Western hostage beheaded in the last six weeks by the bloodthirsty ISIS forces.
President Obama released a statement promising justice for Henningwithout mentioning a word about Kassig’s possible fate.
“Mr. Henning worked to help improve the lives of the Syrian people and his death is a great loss for them, for his family and the people of the United Kingdom,” the President said in a statement.
last week ,the United Kingdom launched its first airstrikes against ISIS since parliament approved military action Friday.
British fighter planes on had launched their first airstrikes against Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) positions in Iraq on Tuesday, targeting a weapon position and armed truck.
The U.K. only joined the U.S.-led fight against ISIS militants on Friday when lawmakers there voted 524-43 for action — after being urgently recalled from a scheduled recess.
Arab countries have joined the military operation faster than the traditional Western allies. France responded Sept. 19, followed by Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark.
The goal of the campaign is to push back the militant group that has declared a self-styled caliphate, or Islamic state, ruled by its brutal interpretation of Islam in territory it has seized across much of Iraq and Syria.
The last time the U.K. conducted airstrikes was on behalf of Libyan rebels who removed Muammar Gaddafi from power in 2011.
Islamic State fighters are waging a two-front war in Iraq and Syria, seeking to expand the boundaries of their newly self-declared caliphate, or Islamic state, ruled by strict Islamic law
